Hi
Has anyone heard/used the Aether reverb by 2C Audio
I was wondering how this reverb compared to Scope reverbs?
Aether @ 2C Audio
Cheers!

compared it to the ArtsAcoustic (which is my only > average native reverb) and Aether lacked significantly in definition - for the 'classical' reverb stuff.
In that domain it would be clearly outperformed by Scope's STW Plate and Ambience, which are now Scope 5's stock reverbs.
Paul Tanti's reverbs on Scope are also superior in this context.
But I really liked it for FX oriented use, as you could tweak some strange stuff very easily.
It's a good device tho, just not a true high class reverb regarding clarity and definiton, a bit blurry so to say.
I don't see any problem to apply this to guitar or synth (for example)
cheers, Tom

but you should at least give it a shot on your own...
not everything needs crystal clear processing, might be just the right for a lushy, spacey synth pad...
or some overcrisp stuff - the interface makes it a quite convenient experience
