Just in case there's a few guys who like outdoor climbing and camping, etc.
I just wish I had more money. This truck is going for 14,500 USD, and I am having dreams of dragging a big 6 point Elk and Solaris behind the seat........
This is an example of why GM with it's little Puto cars is doomed.
I do appreciate my 4 cylinder gas saver, but when hanging in the outdoors, those Dogs Will Never Hunt.
I prefer buying from a company that doesn't snivel around for Government handouts.
I guess most Yanks feel the same too since Ford/Lincoln/Mercury had 2 billion in profit and out sold everyone again.
Toyota has a really beauty Mid Sized truck, but I gotta say the Raptors are the bomb.

gotta say, with pickups you gotta ignore the details (like mileage, etc) and just appreciate the attitude. If I lived in florida long enough, I would have ended up with one. Everyone's gotta have a pickup. And as a scuba instructor it made a lot of sense too.

I sure hope the Swiss get that AntiMatter Collider working so we can use it's power for transportation in the future.
In the USA it's just not practical driving a little electric hybrid around. You should take the bus if you're gonna be that slow..
I use a truck just to haul the gear, and camping. Otherwise once my rig is set up I take the Double Decker busses to work. Besides they're packed with Waittail Cocktresses and Keno girls, bartenders, and everybody can drink with an open container.
That's why I can hardly leave Nevada, I always end up getting scolded or arrested becuase I am unaccustomed to the Facist states I am surrounded by.
I feel so sorry for immigrants that can't read English yet.
We have enough trouble trying to remember all of these revenue creating laws.

P.S. ALmost forgot................How's the kid doing these days......??

I guess as long as it's manufactured and assembled in the US it's even better.

The Canadian/Mexican/Japanese/Chinese mixed mode technology component approach is what hurt Toyota (especially the Chinese chips in the engine control systems - hint, hint). The rest of the car companies bought the roost and took the bailout before the Chinese and Indian cars hit the market.

Then the jig is up.

The hybrid trucks only get marginal improvement in mileage while adding more weight and less maneuverability.

If you want to drive trail why not rent one for a weekend? If you buy one it will just stand around or...you drive it and burn gas like a mofo. :D

That's a good idea but there's new tax code which says the rental is not deductable, however if I buy it, I can say it's my work truck.
I would drive it 72-80 days a year for hauling gear, camping, boating and hunting. But I could actually write off the gas and mileage for both vehicles........
You are thinking clearly though. I did that with a Band Van and a lease for 8 years and it was the way to go back then, but we had less Government intrusion, and creative financing was easy.
But ain't that sucker BAD...??

Yeah ok but for a weekend?Who cares about tax refund then. Its not like you do that 3 or 4 times a month right?
Its a badass car but in these times...its nothing id even think about.I rent cars, i will not own one exept if i really really have to.I pay 60 bucks for a Fiat Panda for a weekend from friday to monday with 1000km to drive. Its not a fun car but its dirt cheap. For a trial dirt jeep its more but its like a rollercoaster ride imo.

I've often considered getting a Sportsmobile (trading in my current VW Eurovan camper).
I currently write off all auto expenses on the VW, (since I own it outright), and even write off '2nd home' extensions provided by having a RV.

Plus, if it's diesel, then conceivably it can be converted to run on fries and poop - or better yet beer and urine.

Surely you'd drink the beer and then urinate in the tank?

Yes, the ultimate over-unity device. Except that you'd have to drink the beer really, really fast
