Synthskool Tune

Post by dawman »

Here's the ARP Odyssey MKI patch from Assaf's Synthschool last week with smaller custom modules and being routed into the Leslie emulation on the B2003.
Just the usual boring 2 handed stereo recording, but the Leslie and Sync'd ARP can be heard in their glorious tones.

thank you ladies and gentlemen, he's here all night...try the liver.

 :D :)

MUST get some surround recording action happening...or at least some 3X stereo stuff. Makes the head swim.

p.s. are you posting these to SC for the ModIV preset library?

this sounds brilliant, nice performance as well :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Ankyu Brotha' Men.
Live I was using my rotary cabinet but since I started using the EML-101 and SE-1's more I needed to use the Barbetta Sub which is incredibly tubby.
But using Celmos' Crossover I can get the lower baffle seperated, and then having the cabinets 8 feet apart the Leslie sounds better than the Pro3t cabinet, which is boringly mono.
Add G.O.S.T.'s Dynomic/Saw I can get incredible Sweeps.

The awesome ARP Odyssey patch from
http://www.synthschool.com/chat.html has
MIDI CC's everywhere, and I am here to tell ya' this
synth is a live players dream come true.
01-100418_1203.mp3
The first preset is a hybrid synth with great resonance.
Second preset is the Gibson 101E Combo Organ which
I have the 3 drawbars active.
Third preset is the French Mirage making a bomb run on airfield.
I now have all of the CC's covered and this is an older
picture. Every little controller has been assigned and
covered and working w/o incident.

Thanks to RoyT, for the new SineLfo Slooooowww.
I use both, but the old one was jumping to higher rates
way too quick, so he made one that could take a little
fader movement before even hitting .01hz................Sahwheeeet.

Actually I have been a moron for too long.
Here's the very first time I ever used more than a stereo track using a softy sequencer, so there's hope.
As of the 9th ( Labor Day Week ) I did my last local gig for a year or so, as I am recording and doing pre production with some anceint Rock Gods. Seems that we will be playing close to you in Sweden in 2011 at some gathering of the Rock Gods.........
So I have no more 6 night a week gigs and 4 days a week Piano jobs. It's a crappy little salary but its enough to be paid to practice and learn my apps better. Including using a sequencer. I'll pm you when I get the details but it's not until next year.
Lasty time I was in Europe Clinton was banging his intern................
Anyways my first multitrack w/using VDAT. VDAT in x64 isn't working that well yet anyways.
