My ex on big island of Hawaii is driving up the volcano to high ground.

A business partner of mine has two sisters in Hawaii...they are not taking any chances either...
I'll sat a prayer for those effected in Chile.....

What a hell, the most strong Earthquake of the modern history!!!
I was under a 5.5° Richter in 1997 when I lived in Urbino (near Fabriano) - Italy, and all seems to be horrible and fatal for 80 seconds!
I'ts a miracle that I'm alive!

I can't imagine how can be a 8.5°!!!!

I was Roller Blading on a nice Asphault Gold Course path at 2:00am after a gig one night in Victorville, CA. and was suddenly slammed to the ground.
Wierd I thought since I had played Hockey the first 20 years of my life and never fell like that before. I got up and felt akward and fell down again, and it wasn't until I saw all sorts of people outside on their balconies as if they were trying to dance that I realized what had happened.
It was the Bear Valley Earthquake....
I has to play for 2 more nights as the tremors kept making the mirrors in the nightclub look as if they were convex.
Was the strangest experience I ever had.
I had never felt so helpless in my life.
We were 30 miles from the Epicenter as the next day we went there to see th big crevices across the Highway it left.
I actually went doen inside of it and grabbed some wierd looking rock that has like quartz, and it was purple and hairy.......weirdness for sure.
There's nothing you can do though once it hits.
You have no balance as the ground underneath you is basically rippled and liquified.

I hope he's okay too. I heard that building standards in Chile are absurdly high and that is why the county are as low as they are. I really do hope his family is okay.

It might be that the communication network has problems....no replies to mails...
