Of course ! I go to shrove every week ! I like it because after, the parish priest always starts to cry.
I don't want any trouble with the severe old fat man.

Hem.... What is the pancake day exactly ?....

For my sins I'm referencing Wikipedia in my reply, so I'll do some attonement as I post this link to the meaning of Pancake Day

I am stuffed full of pancakes, that was some pancake feast. Don't think I can face another pancake, at least for a few more hours anyway.

A pancake is like pan bread and you cook it like an omlete

For the pancake mixture:
110g/4oz plain flour
2 eggs
200ml/7fl oz milk
50g/2oz butter

To serve:
caster sugar
lemon juice
lemon wedges

Mix all the ingredients together. The more you mix it the 'fluffier' the pancakes.
Heat a pan add a knob of butter
pour in a little of the mixture and when one side is lightly browned flip it over to do the otherside
Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice to serve
I like mine with bananas, raspberries and a little brandy

It may be after pancake day but they are good for a quick snack all year round

Get ready as today is Ash Wednesday and here's Lent - I give up!

And don't panic when the first one fails and horribly falls to pieces - that must be some secret law in pancake land =]

We put different toppings too, like jam or chocolate paste (Nutella). Or, my favorite, in the summer: with a ball of vanilla ice-cream. Yummie!

But now all winter supplies vanished in carneval, so first, 40 days of fasting :D
