FP106-X for Xite beta (build 34 - for regusers)

FP106 is available in a version hopefully optimized for Xite
BUILD 34: --> http://www.spacef-devices.com/index.php ... :beta-test
FP106-X is the FP106C for Xite. It is also compatible with Scope.
It adds the possibility to link the Aux Sends of mono channels in addition to the channel levels. Linking is done independantly for each aux and volumes, keeping the ability to use different send levels on each pair of mono channels, while adding the confort of linked aux sends whenever the user needs it.
The insert effect on the Rec Channel has been removed, as it is not necessary to put analyzers and spectrometers inside the mixers.
Other modifications are a slightly brighter color of the background which becomes dark-grey-blueish instead of pure black that would unfortunately melt with Scope 5 / Xite black modules. Also, the color potis are slightly bigger and brighter.
More info :
http://www.spacef-devices.com/index.php ... Itemid=140
If you want to test, thanks to check multi-midi on the surface and insert effects, loading big verbs and delays in the aux slots, reloading the project.... etc etc
Does it just work at all ? better than Scope version? same ? Thanks for your reports as it cannot be tested here.....
Good luck, and have fun.....

PS: please note that you need a FP mixer key activation to participate in this beta (as each beta may be "it"....)

It's FAT........
The new mono links in the lower left are cool.
V 1 2 3.........V is the stereo linkage. A is the option to link the
2 AUX knobs to form a stereo copy, same with B and C........SahweeeeTT.
This is really nice because if you are using AUX's for true stereo
effects, you can use the PAN to place the signals in a stereo mix
where you want it, and use the AUX knobs to add more depth to
the right or left side of the stereo signal, or just match the 2 x mono
signals into stereo.
The MIDI inserts on a seperate channel work fine.
The Load State Insert Presets were considerately saved so users
could recall thier complex configurations that take a long time to
make......Ankyu.
The newer presets that have the " X " name work fine too.
All AUX and Master effects presets are recalled.
So far a flawless FAT BASTARD.............Nice work Brotha' Man Mehdi..
Now I shall go and try to beat it to death with huge plugs and
using my fader on the KS88 to move 16 knobs at once, and other fun tests.
I declare the FP106X an XITE-1 Mixer now..
They shall write songs about you..

It's cool waiting for a mixer to load....
I like watching the insert slots populate as the effects load up.
Its the only mixer I have that does that.
All others jut kind of appear.
This one loads with a design characteristic.......Ni..................sssss.

Thanks guys...
Keep em coming.....
I will look again in the mixer next week if there is something more to optimize here and there (eventhough, not too sure it can be better than that right now).... trying to get rid of the extra 2% dsp used by the aded aux linkers... (which are not simple dynamic connections, as linking on spacef devices is made to retain midi CC in all situations without the need to reprogram them in case of linking or unlinking faders.... )....
That said, i almost ODed on the FP mixer
so it's nice to know it works well

especially the multi-midi is very important, it means multitimbral devices could work on xite... which was far from being granted as it is functions built on the edge of what is possible with Scope.....
I will work with this FP mixer from now on, someone asked me to remix all our tracks for tomorrow 8-o
See you soon then, keep "reports" coming wether positive or negative...

Well I whooped it and couldn't shut it down.
6 x huge Warp69 Reverbs. Echo 35. Matrix Delay..........the biggest plugs.
I never could do this with my old cards but now I can really use the Load
Insert State presets to their maximum.
The mixer can take anything you throw at it.
Fellow XITE-1 users know a jpeg is cute but if no audio is being heard or
shown in the VU's it don't mean a thing except that it will load plugs.
This loads and then plays, So This Dog Will Hunt.
The only mixer for XITE-1 that can pack the DSP's.
I even loaded my synths and effects up first...!!
This is a design that S|C should take notice of.
Nice Job Mehdi..........

Super, Mehdi !
I think now you have to break in a bank to get an Xite ! I would be much easier to make xite devices !

So far, the FP106-X is working great! It loads much faster than any of the previous ones, and takes a lot of insets

Everything seems to be working perfectly, and I haven't had a single optimization message since I started using it, so congratulations, Mehdi, and, once again, many thanks!

Good news Tau !
@Jopo: do you know if they allow xite in jail ? may be a swedish or netherland prison but not a french one

Paypal doesn't accept oranges as payment neither

(breaking a bank is like a "hold-up" or something ? ) ....

This is just crazy how many devices can be stacked and now with the real mixer with Stereo auxes.
I need to discipline a bit to learn all the tricks available with it, but it's a masterpiece...
S|C guys should use it for demoing Xite at Musikmesse

FP 106-X build 33 is online
Download and save over the previous build (overwrite previous FP106-X device).
Version Info:
- Implements a new structure of the aux circuit. May or may not not change performances under xite.
Thanks to report any misbehavior of the Aux circuit compared to the previous build.
- Corrects the Fx-Bus that was always off for Tape Channels. Also, various changes have been made to manual dsp allocation of the various sections (the "dsp on-off " buttons of aux and Fx-bus).
- Repairs Tape channel 2 Aux sends too.
- Corrects the mono channels "lights" that were not showing the aux linked icon
- Corrects various panel graphics that were slightly misplaced.
- The Rec Channel Gain DIsplay is much bigger now
- The Channel Gain displays are all slightly bigger now.

something has stopped working in the site, i think there is a server maintenance....
sorry, bad luck to have chosen today to upload the new version...
Try the main site download section / beta test/ Fp Mixer...
but it looks difficult to create files today, it might be deleted so i will have to try again tomorrow...

Here's 34X......
As usual it works perfectly well and I never have had any problems.
But the artists are never happy with thier work, so I can relate to Mehdi's endless quest of perfection.
As you can see the VU's on the channels, AUX's and Master are working even with this insanely large pallette of crap I will never use.
I have no need for this many instances of effects, but for those who have a need for something this complex, here ya' go.
Actually this is what Medhi envisioned with this mixer.
The sub presets are and the Insert Load presets are very useful as the channels can be packed like this, and then using the bypass buttons on the inserts, one can store combinations and call them up with no waiting time since they are already loaded, but lay dormant until summoned.
