Be carefull who you talk to at sonic regarding the xite upgrades. I was alegible for the upgrade,therefore, was contacted by people from Sonic for confirmity. made the corresponding steps. Till this very day I haven't heard from them. what's terrible is that I was ordered to send my old boards for exchange when the money had cleared which I did. I even have proof from the courrier that my boards reached Sonic facilities at Siegbourg. I tried to contact them thru their hotline customer service and finally gotten hold of someone who can help me as I'm stranded with no gear what so ever, I can wait or may be give up since I can't live more than a month in this situation. This was just to warn you on the dificulty of this Xite Upgrade offer, do not send your boards untill some one from Sonic contacts you!

Yeah, it seems the upgrade offer isn't proceeding so smoothly. I haven't heard a word in two weeks since my "order" was accepted, despite numerous queries.
At least they haven't taken my money (or scope boards) yet, but I'm starting to get nervous about this deal actually happening.
I guess I just have to wait, but not for much longer.

Hey guys, I pre paid, and these chaps had my greens for 7 months, and yes 4 large made me a little nervous and my better half was cackling lightly.
So if there was to be any financial nonsense I believe I would have been the best oppurtunity.
Solaris is being coded and added to the product line also so hang in there.
We need more guys especially experienced engineers to help with tips for lame guys like me.

They have had some trouble with a few things.
They received money just before Christmas but couldn't ship anything during that period. It's been sent last week.
Unfortunately, it went back to them because of these damn customs of mine!
It's been quite hard to be in contact with them during Christmas but now it's fine.
They answered to me yesterday, as I was worried shtg happened (thought about a pb with CH customs precisely...).
By the way, they said the Xite temp key will be active during a period (was it during 30 days?) if you can't send the board straight.

I wonder when the returned cards start showing up at the Purchasing thread by guys with freaky names like poo_little and Farty.............

It won't be one of mine.
I plan on keeping both my other genI and genII pro in some older workstation and get signal back to the xite computer through ADAT.
Then, let's hope they find good use of our returned dsps, as Xite is using them too.
Do you think they can reuse these for Xite? It'd be a good move.

It has finally arrived! I'm an owner of the new Xite-1

Now I gotta figure out how to make every thing work,

Yup I traded in a Project card but will keep my Pro cards for now. Have been trying to work out how to connect everything, but hoping the following basic routing will work.

XITE-1 connected via Z-Link to A16 Ultra 1 (This A16U is hooked up to all my balanced outboard gear I/O

Older PC with Pro Cards connected via Z-Link to A16 Ultra 2 (This A16U is hooked up to my outboard synths.

Connect XITE-1 to Older PC with Pro cards via ADAT.

Hopefully that will work. If anyone has any better ideas though I would appreciate a second opinion

What's in the title that could indispose anybody?
If someone had trouble with S|C (I know what I'm talking about actually), then it's still a thing to which you can refer to here and know that some of us were to bust their balls quite a bit to get answers from them. IMHO...
