Hi,
The issue with SCOPE mixers is that they can only handle one MIDI channel, and usually 127 CC are not enough for controlling everything.
There are two options:
1) use Wolf's mixers which support Mackie Control, and setup the US 2400 in Mackie mode (I think you can ask for a demo)
2) mix in the DAW and use scope plugins as external hardware or in XTC mode.
I use XTC mode for mixing, since it's much more comfortable (I can control plugin parameters from the control surface for example, and also benefit of the transport / jog / other functions)
