There are some system builders here that you can contact, such as GaryB, but basically Asus or Intel motherboards with PCI slots are good.

I'm not sure what kind of environment Logic prefers other than lots of RAM.

Sorry if this is not specific enough, since there are many directions you can go.

stardust's post was pretty much to the point. i'd suggest getting an extra hard drive. use the first for os and apps and the second to record to.
