UK public schools are PRIVATE schools for the very wealthy. they're legendary for breeding boys who hold on to other boys' "garden hoses"...

My Dad was the best man at my wedding...probably one of the smartest guys I ever met. (and he called me the smart one) Did his own car repairs on the old 66 Toronado, could walk up a flight of steps, doing a handstand in his 40s...and has been on a steady systematic decline from Lewy Body disease for the last 5 years. He has had assisted living, and the end of last year, he was moved to a locked down dementia ward, has to wear diapers, and can't use a phone any more. Pretty undignified for a man w/ 6 patents for transferring cryogenic fluid from one tank to another (that NASA and Air Products still uses)....

I'm not sad...I've been dealing with this for years now...none of this comes as a surprise....I just thought I'd clarify...I don't think I'm alone in how we feel about our fathers...Yes, proud & lucky I am. Everyone else are just friends..

Happy Thoughts Fellas....
