New Drum Rig

I dusted off the old par cans, wire wheeled, and repainted them & hung them on the new drum rack I'm designing. I will have the majority of the lights spread out around the kit over the top...like 2 of the cans, shown.
1 1/2" condiut from the hardware store, a tubing cutter and a shitload of "T" fittings from Ultimate Support.
2 sit down kits on the right, 360 degrees, where the lights are hanging and to the left...a stand-up drum rig (3 kits in 1)
I'll post a new pick...when the rest of the mounting hardware arrives. 14 Zildjians, 13 ddrum III pads, 10 simmons pads, SPSs, 2 nimrods & 2 dingbats...I have a LOT of clamps, booms, arms, tom tom mounts, Gibraltar curved tom bar, etc etc

yeah...the doors behind the rig are the entry to the studio, under my garage...about 1,000 sq ft. Total sq footage of the place is just under 8,000 sq ft. I used concrete planks for the floor of the gerage...giving me the studio space. My house is built from ICF (insulated concrete forms) 8" of solid concrete & rebar, concrete ceiling (which will be covered in a product called Linacoustic) and brick. the walls are 15" thick, carpeted, w/ a full PA, 48 channel console (2 Behringer MX9000s), 12 synths, my Scope & XITE gear..it will be called Muscle and Hate Studios...there will be many more pics of the progress to come...

Yeah That's the rig I'd like to see live.
They look like PAR 36's.
If so the Q45 Bulbs that are 100 watts won't melt your head.
I worked with a poser a few years ago who had all the gear a man could want with his own lights, etc. He should have spent the money on a few Dave Weckyl videos, or better yet been a bartender.
We talked him into going from 12 foot cage to 8 foot, but he didn't change his bulbs so he had a dozen 1000 watters scorching his head everynight.....
Keep us posted, and thanks for the jpeg.s.
As long as one has proof and jpegs, it's not bragging. Just showboating, but hey a man with pride is usually on a mission.

hee hee...

Until the drum rig mounting stuff shows up..I'm starting to run out of showboat toys...but not quite yet. 1 more...the keyboard rig..not that impressive...but 1 really cool synth, I fell in love with it when I first saw it, but couldn't pop for the 4K, when they were new...just think one of the last, real FM kings...stay tuned...same Panet Z Time....same Planet Z Channel!
God I hope I never fully "grow up" whatever that means...
