I do not see the 5.0 documentation available on s/c's web site yet. Does it automatically install with the 5.0 install? Is it down loadable from elsewhere?

not that I'm aware of. I'll ask ralf if it would be safe to mirror it separately.

Well, I don't have 5.0 keys yet and wont for a while, so I will not be installing. But I would like to look at the docs. Is there a way to extract them from the 5.0 download without installing?

There's really very little change to the docs as they currently stand with the Release Candidate. I'm sure there will be updates, but at this point I believe that you won't find anything that isn't more or less in the V4.5 docs.

I think someone was inquiring with S/C about posting them anyway...

I didn't scour through each and every page but it looked very much like all they did was take the 4.5 manual and change any text reference from 4.5 to 5.0. Otherwise all the screen shots look exactly like 4.5 so I don't think they've invested very much time into the manual.

ralf told me they will upload the manual later, and they prefer to have it not mirrored elsewhere, since they cannot guarantee to have all copies in sync then.
but if krizrox is right it's not too different from the one you can download from S|C.
