Adern Announces Xor and Mojo, Two new plugins for the Scope
Adern is proud to announce the release of two new plugins for the Scope platform.
Xor is a Variable Wave synthesizer. Xor's combination of varying waveform oscillators, rich sounding multi-mode filter, diverse pattern LFOs and intuitive modulation routing allows the creation of new and exciting soundscapes revealing the darker, and electric side of Scope - like never before.
Xor is the bad boy on the block, and he's your friend. Prepare to generate big fearless Sequences, raging mad leads, hefty basses with attitude and pads of eternal darkness with Xor.
Mojo is an ultra dynamic guitar amp emulation. Mojo has been designed to achieve the most expressive tone in current emulations, have a smooth, elegant, very light crunch and be extremely dynamic and touch responsive.
Mojo's character is unique, yet its sound palette is rich, ranging from blazing hot lead guitars, through scooped and crunchy blues sounds, to sensitive and dynamic clean tones.
Xor and Mojo have fully functional demos for download from the adern site. Give them a try!
Celebrating the release, Adern's online shop is offering a time limited discount to all of its products until May 1st 2009.
Flexor 3 owners - you get a special deal for the Xor and Mojo bundle!

Unfortunately 96Khz is not supported with mojo (yet), but that doesn't stop it from sounding greatImmanuel wrote:Congratulations

Any guess at how long before Mojo supports 96khz? That is my preferred samplerate for projects so i'm curiouse.ReD_MuZe wrote:Unfortunately 96Khz is not supported with mojo (yet), but that doesn't stop it from sounding greatImmanuel wrote:Congratulations

I will let the maestro answer that - to anyone who doesn't know, Alfonso is the Genius behind Mojo.Sounddesigner wrote: Any guess at how long before Mojo supports 96khz? That is my preferred samplerate so i'm curiouse.
but i should offer some clarification, Mojo uses some FIR filters, which have a design that is samplerate dependent. this means that they sound different for each sample-rate you choose. unless Scope 5 or Xite will allow oversampling and down-sampling, it would be impossible to match mojo's sound in different sample rates.
Mojo does work in 96 khz, but it doesn't sound the way Alfonso has designed. If alfonso were to design a 96khz version for scope it would have to sound different.
personaly i love this amp in 44 better than 48 even. and considering that most amps have very little audio above 12 khz the fact that we are at 44 khz does not "damage" the sound one bit.

Re: Adern Announces Xor and Mojo, Two new plugins for the Scope
some small additional details:
for anyone who hasn't noticed, KickMe has a new subversion: KickMe too + which can also follow the keyboards pitch.
Xor and mojo are both impossible to make with modular, as there are so many sound tweeks on the way, the devices are like one big living flexor module. Xor's oscillators are redesigned to sound smoother, and have new shapes, and uses a brand new 2 pole filter. Mojo's overdrive sections have new shapes with a new type of saturation algorithm, and FIR filters.

Yet, it means that to use it, one would have run all other devices in the project in 44.1/48 too. I really like i.e. Masterverb better at that rate.ReD_MuZe wrote:personaly i love this amp in 44 better than 48 even. and considering that most amps have very little audio above 12 khz the fact that we are at 44 khz does not "damage" the sound one bit.
Am I right in guessing, that if one tries to run Mojo at 96K, the filters will work at double the frequency compared to running at 48K?

I like the length of motion I get with this baby.
It ain't no 17 minute Crescendo like in Ravel's Bolero, but this synth has some legs.
I haven't a clue what Block 6 and the new terms are, but I know how they affect the sound now.
Thanks for a fast access demo too...............what a concept. Almost forgot, nice little demos, and you and Ben had some cool presets too.
I made the sound above from your descending BP filter pre, but changed a few things to get what I wanted....

Re: Adern Announces Xor and Mojo, Two new plugins for the Scope
Let me slap ya' with the likes of this..................
But when I want to get down and dirty, slam some Jagers and jam, I gosta have the sound of a Twin Reverb or a Leslie w/ the brake on.
I think this is a great emulation for Keyboards, why should some one note at a time Guitarist have all the fun ?..........
Anyway my seal of approval........as this Dog'll Hunt.
Sure I like the gay old clean belly, pristine sound of a Rhodes.
