it should be worth at LEAST half the price of a new 6 dsp SRB.
so, i'd say 200 euros is a great price for a lucky buyer.

Here in Italy Scope 6DSP with base plugins (no mix&master, synth&sampler) are several at 150-180 eruos available.
200 euros is the upper limit IMO.

ok, if you guys like it that way. the card IS still manufactured. 200 euros is cheap when compared to the price of a new card...i guess that's what happens when brats with too much money buy things and then sell them for nothing in a few weeks when they tire of them...

Well, not that it's anything to go by, but sharc advertised 2 3dsp cards, boxed with manuals, for sale on this forum a couple of years back for a fraction of their new value. I think one was £90 & the other was £120 since it had the 3.1c OS upgrade + Vocodizer. Nobody bought them. I bought a 14 dsp SRB brand new for about 1000 EURO 2 years ago & if I had went out a month later & sold it boxed with manuals, I'd have been lucky to get 600 EURO in return. Pro sound cards (dsp-based or not) just don't hold their value.

yes, i know that one well. however, the rule of thumb with gear is 50% of the best price new.....

That rule of thumb only really applies to gear that's either only a year or two old or so seriously sought after that people will still pay serious money for it even if it's 5/6+ years old...

discontinued lines follow different rules, as rules of thumb go.
sometimes discontinued items become more valuable as they become harder to get, sometimes not. i've been selling used gear for a living(or part of my living expenses) for more than 20 years now...
