I think using this as a learning tool is awesome.
I was classically trained and had trouble with modern day horn & percussion charts, especially sight reading at auditions, etc. So I would sneak in to soundchecks and tape the bands and having the tape and charts was crucial to me.
This is a grea tool.

Awesome find.......

I am curious, what were you searching for to discover this?

no need to search - it was featured in some tech news mag or so recently ;)
to be honest I first thought it was about a program that would squeeze the essence from (music) chart records to guarantee the you the next million-selller without copyright infringement...
like the current Coldplay release for example (though they are not that infringy...)
maybe someone can help me out where the melody of 'Viva la Vida' is from :-?
it's torturing me since I heard it the first time...

cheers, Tom

hm...well...sounds a bit like mixing without thinking of tempo and pitch but...Idea beyond is smart.
