I´m a pretty experienced cubase user (cubase vst32 5.0r6).Suddenly midi through and midi rec didn´t work at all.I´ve reinstalled twice.Other midiprograms work fine (the mididrivers must be ok).I have two bootdisks,but I have the same problem on both.Ofcourse the midi through is activated.

Anyone know this problem and how to solve it?

I think I found the answer to my own question.
The matter is that the external midi remote controller has to be send through another midiport to the (generic) remote in cubase)
than the other midimessages.Somehow the remotecontroller disturbs (disables)the midithrough function.Now it seems to work.
