Hi!

I remember when I had a rme multiface, it was possible disable some asio ports in cubase, which then could be used by a different software, I dont know it it was Asio Mode or another mode, but it worked at the same time...

Does someone know if thats possible with scope too? I already disabled some ports, but the other application wont let me initialize the asio driver for the other ports...it should work, shouldn't it?

well anyway, it seems not to work, i tried a workaround with an asio4all driver, it could have multiple outputs, but the scope wave source drivers only allow 2 per module, could I change this with the developer tool I have?

i don't think so.

RME's support for multiclient ASIO (and other audio hardware's support) is NOT a part of the ASIO spec. RME got this particular distinction because for some time they sold the de-facto "Nuendo audio interface", which was essentially the Multiface+HDSP with a Steinberg branded faceplate.

To achive this on Scope you might try the test-release of Steinberg's multiclient ASIO wrapper, which can be found on the Nuendo forums or linked here in the planetZ forums. No idea if it works with Scope ASIO or not...
