Hi I need help!
I cannot install the driver of the scope 4.0 on mac os 9.2.2 this the error message: System Error: can not start because software board (s) or driver not properly installed.I think that the sound card is not recognized by the pci bus. I have a dual PowerPC G4 1GHz with osx tiger with classic environment os 9.2.2.

I hope you can help me .... I do not know what to do! Thanx!!

of course I can, but you probably won't like the answer...
Scope doesn't run under OSX, no matter which CPU or if 'Classic' mode is on.
The latter is for software compatibility only, it has no access to the hardware at all.

v5 should solve your problems....

make a second partition and install OS9 on that. I do it like that and it has been working for about 8 years now.
of course, I have my sequencer on another machine... Scope for me is (atm) 'just' a hardware synth/mix/fx environment communicating through ADAT.

yes, it WILL be soon, but it will be when we get it, not a moment before....

and keep your fingers crossed that it's a 'Universal Binary' to support the PowerPC CPU...
wouldn't be the first case that the latter is dropped
