Hi!

I have this annoying problem for a while. Almost everytime when i reload my project or reload the dsp's in case of project optimalization, my synth presets wont load correctly. It seems like if the synths get some midi message which return the volume output to zero, so i have to reload them.

Quite often i have to scroll through several presets till the sound shows up, and then select the right preset again.

Mixer presets and most effects are left unaltered. Only space-f's echo35 is causing some trouble sometimes, not always...

I already put a midi filter in between the sequencer source and my synths, which filters program changes, but then again i cant change presets when working on a project...

Anyone having similar problems??

Nope, this is not the problem...

I tried moving about every fader or pot and sometimes sound came back, but very low signal...

When i start my project, presets will load correctly with their names. And when i start cubase, the preset-name(s) disappear, and i have to reload the patch.. So probably cubase is sending some kind of midi message to my synths, but i couldnt find anything using the midi monitor...

Ah yes, i have to fix the 0 volume on Echo35.
If I remember well, there is a midi CC assigned to volume by default, and it makes volume goes back to zero even if the graphic itself seems normal... it was done at a time when i didn't know anything about midi in scope.... I might fix this this week , by removing the Midi CCs which are assigned to those midi-unfriendly parameters.

PS: i have no preset problem on my devices (not that i am aware of) , but it is possible that same cause = same effects on the other devices of your project.

Thanks for explaining! The thing is though, that it does not necessarely occur with your devices..
I saw indeed that the echo-35 volume pot is at zero, also graphically, but mostly minimax and/or prodyssey suffer from this....
