Zarg Pro One installation problem

I have keys for Pro One. After i put .oxe where it should be and after i start scope it say: "Initialization of Zarg_Pro-One_NoKeys successful" but i cant find it anywhere after that. There is Pro One preset file in SFP Preset folder and various pro one files in DSP directory but no synth. .oxe is downloaded from soniccore website. Btw there are two .oxe files. Zarg_Pro-One_NoKeys.oxe and Zarg_Pro-One_Solo_NoKeys.oxe. Both files same thing..

Anyone have any clue what is wrong..

yeah, it looks like the file is very small.

i'd contact Ralf or support in general. i'm sure you can get it worked out...

John could probably provide you with the proper file as well.

possibly you bought the ProTone and not John Bowen's Pro One? if so, that oxe is at the end of the list in my browser.

As I explained in private email to mpodrug, I never used these .oxe files for my sales of the Pro One. I think these can only be from a short time period after I stopped selling it and Creamware took it over for some 6 months, so I don't have any records of sales from that time. If he has ProTone, then he has the Creamware version they made of a Pro One.
There is much controversy about the sales of the Pro One from that period, mostly because no royalties were ever paid on these (not the customer's fault, I know), so technically I normally don't support this device from the .oxe days. That's all I can say about that!

I got the WC Pro One (JB's version) from John himself, when I crossgraded from CW ProOne (he was generous enough to do so).
the .oxe files do not contain the synths anymore, as you noticed.
so either John will send you the file himself, or he has to provide it to S|C, now that they're selling it on his behalf, so they can put it up on ftp or mail it to you.

Ummmm, Sonic Core is not liable to offer a crossgrade, since we are talking about a different synth device, actually. The key registrations are different, the functions for the synth (sequencer, some parameters) are quite different (and the presets are not compatible), and it costs a bit to therefore do the crossgrade. He did not have keys for anything of my product (but not his fault - he didn't really know this).

so the Pro One up on winter special sale from John Bowen is different from the WC Pro One 3.0 I got from you, if I got this right...!?

I see. but... what the hell did he buy then? :) he said he had ProTone already... or did he simply have a key for the ProTone from a time it was called Pro One by CW themselves?

OK, getting a little confusing now -

1) The W.C. Pro One now in the Winter Sale is the same as I was selling directly, so no change there
2) He had a key for Sonic Core Pro One, which I think is basically the same as the CW ProTone, just a name change after the take-over.

ah, that's why. they call the thing S|C Pro One now in the registry, I just relized. the old entry from 2005 in my allkeys file said protone, but after I got a plugin tranferred to my card the entry changed to Sonic Core Pro One. they just seem to have forgotten to rename it in the shop and redesign the gui...
