DJ Vadim Remix

I remixed DJ Vadim "Ballistic Affair".

This isn't a contest but they said I might get played on the BBC. The samples are all Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0. The the analog bass sounds are mine and the effects. One bass was the Minimax. I mixed through Cubase 4.5 and SFP 4. The only mastering was through Vinco basically. I had no problems with Cubase or the SFP except the VDAT caused my computer to crash hard so I could not use that. I don't know what the problem is. Screw it.

They gave me some samples he didn't use. I don't know why. The girl sounds great.

Thanks for sharing this.

I must have run out of RAM on my stick as I could only listen to the remix, so I don't know what you did.
I'll give it a listen after work.
I prefer rap style music when some vocal hooks are injected, and it's a nice groove on the drums.

The drum loop was good but he didn't separate the kick drum from the cow drum sound and there were not enough variations on it. I did not want to spend enough time to create a new drum track.

Thanks,

I just wanted to try something different than what I usually do. Now back to my music!

This jungloid tribal like rhythm though gives it a more down to earth trait. Thanks for sharing.
