Disney's Fantillusion parade is very popular in Tokyo Disneyland, and I was looking on youtube to find some footage, just to remember how the orchestration was. Not very creative orchestration or anything, but just to recall all the parts... and youtube lead me to the french version at euro disney.. And from the bad recording, I couldn't really tell, but it seemed like the euro disney version was a different recording, with much better performance from the orchestra (or synth), much more pronounced percussive strings performance... just much better performance overall... Does anyone know if the euro disney version was produced separate from the Tokyo version?

probably. both were likely locally produced, or at least produced specifically for those locations. i know some of the Disney artists in this area and there is a group specifically for the Anaheim park that is near me. write Disney. they'll probably be glad to brag about it all to you.
