Ok, so I tricked you to read this post.
1. I want to be able to use the sample players and make them load the samples along with the project. How?
2. Is there a beta version of XTC drivers coming out soon for Mac/PC? If so, then would they work for OS X?
3. What is the difference btw XTC card and PulsarII Card?
4. Nothing else.
thanks for any enlightment!

Answer to the first point:
Just save your project with the samples in the sampler. Simple.
As to the XTC questions, I'm sure someone will get back to you very quickly.

1) Save the samples to your harddisk, load them into your project, save the project, and presto, U got samples in your project next time you load it (atleast it works for me on a PC

).
2) Got no idea. Sorry.
3) Pulsar II SRB is physically the same as XTC, XTCpro is same as Pulsar II (with I/O board added).
4) Over and out

I'm under the impression that the sample players CAN'T load samples on their own, only the projects that are made from them.
Am I wrong?

No your not. The sample player can only LOAD programs that are already made.
SoundFont, Akai S1000/S3000, and Pulsar (.sts), but you can't load WAV directly.
If you want to load wav, you can get the free program STSMaker that batch create STS programs with all wav in a specified directory.

If I try to load a project with samples on the sample players they'll only say:
"couldn't load: 120BPM GAY DISCO"
And then I have to manually put the sample again.
HOw do I copy an AKAI sample to the HD?

You can copy Akai CD on your HD inside the Explorer of the Pulsar only because Windows doesn't see Akai Disc...
just use copy/paste and reload your progs from your HD into sample players before saving the project...

so the ordinary sample players of pulsar are able to load soundfont and .sts? wow, didn“t knew that.
is that sts-maker better, or more comfortable as the Wav2Akai freeware?

Thanks for your reply MP. Its not often that I'm right about something!
I have actually got the STS4000 so I'm ok on the program front.
As an aside, when I tried using the CD with the Sample Player, I couldn't get anything to work, (not unusual for me), so I e-mailed Creamware support and got no reply. But I don't think that did me any harm really, because when I started to load my percussion CD samples into the STS4000, I learnt a lot about the whole Pulsar/Sampler set-up by trial and error and using the manual. So, sometimes there's a tendency to ask for support when some things just require a bit of effort.
