Uninstalling Creamware Pulsar

Hi. I have Creamware Pulsar (the original one that I bought in 1998). Finally I decided to uninstall it as I consider it too old. After completing uninstallation I installed my new soundcard (M-Audio Firewire 1814), but I have the following problem.
Many of my audio applications (for example Sonic Foundry Acid 4.0 and I think also Sound Forge 8.0) complain of the following error when starting them:
Hardware version 15 detected. This hardware requires a software update. Please consult the installation guide.
I think this error message is related to Creamware Pulsar or the Scope platform. There isn't anymore anything related to Scope or Pulsar in the Device manager, so my guess would be that there is something left in Windows Registry about Pulsar (maybe the ASIO drivers or something..?) that gets audio programs confused.
The M-Audio seems to work OK but the error messages are still annoying and I don't want there to be anything extra in the machine that might mess up audio performance.
Now just 5 minutes ago I noticed that the problem seemed to vanish when I renamed SFP in C:\ to SFP-backup
Can you help me or give me some instructions how to get rid of absolutely everything Scope or Pulsar related..?
Thanks
