Syncing feeling

Ok thats probably the worst pun i could think of.. apologies.. brain hasn't been in fully working order this week!!

Anyway, i seem to spend my time alternating between my macbook and my pc...

I end up using my laptop for web stuff and a general stetch pad for ideas (mostly in reason) and then i plug my little 2gb stick in and try to remember what i've downloaded (samples, .devs, etc..) and then plug that into my pc and put them in their appropriate files etc..

This is frustrating - i might dload a refill/sample or both - get an idea going - then when i want to put it into my "proper" DAW (i.e. the one with scope  ) i seem to spend my time scratching my head when there are files missing, not in the right place etc..

Anyone know of a better way of having these files automatically update?

The PC is rarely on the web - only for installs/registration and the very occasional update - but most of them i dload to the mac then transfer.. so a shared web file is not really the way to go - is there a simple lead that can sync them and i'm just being a dumb@ss? Does anyone else have a similar quibble?

Tom

Thanks Pollux,

I'll give Dirsync Pro a whirl on the weekend.

Much appreciated.
