Knowing Creamware Working Win 2000 drivers will be available to you and me when windows 3000!! Comes Out. I dont know about you but i cant wait that long! Come On Creamware Suprise Me!
Your problem sounds Motherboard/BIOS related (although i'm no expert), as the 2k beta drivers work fine apparently in Standard PC Configuration. Just dont go installing it in ACPI or MPS Multiprocessing mode, the Pulsar may install correctly but believe me it dont work correctly.

This may seem obvious, so sorry in advance if so... but did you read the "README file" that comes with the Win2k beta? Because it absolutely works, not perfectly, but good for a BETA software.

Subhuman,i know where your coming from, to tell you the truth when i first got the pulsar win2k beta i didnt read ALL the readme file and thats what gave me a real headache trying to install it under multi-processor mode. When it states quite clearly Standard PC mode recommended. I know there beta drivers but win2k does support dual cpu's and basically what have creamware got to lose by making them dual cpu compatible.
When the final w2k release does hit us it will be fine for single cpu users i bet, how are they going to know about multi-processor issues/problems with there product until its to late! Making us the users who put them where they are today with more problems/incompatability and basically more stress!! I aint got time to solve hardware problems, i want a product that does what it says it can do on the packaging. Enough ranting, hopefully i'll have some nice things to say about Creamware's Pulsar2 know that i can say it is finally WORKING the way i want it to anyway.

about Standard PC mode.
Multiprocessor mode requires ACPI turned on which makes all PCI cards appear on IRQ9.
this might be an issue.

Acoording to Microsoft Sharing IRQ's shouldnt be a problem with WIN 2000, although i have heard people say that that win2k's ACPI Is not without its faults!! Apparently WinXP Corrects this problem.

Apparently WinXP Corrects this problem.
While taking a 25-30% performance loss! Yay! Maybe we'll have stable fast machines once we get 3Ghz...

that would be a crossgrade, man
btw, winNT(2000) is certainly not worse... it´s the first os from redmond i really appreciate. although i´m still 'working' under winME (aka win95 F, the last one...), trying out the pulsar beta on w2k is quite cool, though it has no real benefits to me at the moment (at all i have some deficites, like no 24bit wave drivers, and to be forced to use both screens at same resolution). this will surely change when i get a new computer.
