regarding the scope5.0 release

Post by Ralf »

Dear Users,

as you surely noticed , we are still at work on the Scope 5,0 software.
It is incredible much of work and we are going further in testing and optimizing.
We want to release a version, which works well as possible.
However, it should take not so much time from now. Unfortunately i cannot give you a fix date for the release.

All the best and thank you for the patience !!!

Excellent news, Ralf! :)

And also a good idea to keep us informed! :)

I'm sure, everybody here is happy to hear, the delay is only because XITE-1 and Scope 5.0 needs further developement. That is absolutely understandable. Developing new hard- and software could allways mean problems no one could have seen before. So better to wait a little longer and therefore get optimised stuff than vice versa.

Thanks Ralph for the info. I'm glad to see SonicCore trying to get the new Platform as bug-free as possible and glad for all the care for their baby and thorough testing.. I'm aware that quality products often have a heavy price and that long development time is usually apart of that price so i can wait. I'm also glad to hear that the release is still soon :)

BTW Ralf,

Not only is XITE-1 the perfect product for a touring musician but it will be an incredible portable live mixing and monitoring solution.
Many groups come to Nevada to perform and most places have great facilities. Seeing a 64 channel Midas monitor board is quite common. But many groups rent entire PA's for a ridiculous amount of money. I plan on getting involved in providing an entire PA w/ wireless monitors and mics.
I will start off small w/ 32 channels and expand as I get more contracts.
Who knows, I might even get hired to play keys and mix/monitor live......I do that right now and at first was overwhelmed and short a few hands, but last week was my 6th week and I can record, mix, monitor, play keys and sing simultaneously, and most importantly, I have learned to add a " Ghost " fader........ :-?
I have learned not to listen to certain members that ask for adjustments after every song !!!! They are simply tweakers, who feel the need to always fix something that doesn't need fixing. I tried this a few weeks back and it works great. The first two weeks were a nightmare as everyone wanted more FX, less Guitar, more Vocals......etc.etc. I finally had enough and took an experienced FOH guys advice and applied a fader that does nothing. When my singer asked for more reverb, I went over and let her see me raise the fader and asked her,,,,,,is that O.K.,,,,,,do you have enough.....Perfect she said. The same goes for the whiny ass Guitarist who wants more, more, more. I simply let them see me move a fader and act concerned about their needs, and it works quite well. When they found out how much I made weekly, it seems as though they want to make me work harder. When they say Jeez JV, that's ridiculous, you could actually pay us a little more right............NOT. My reply is go get your own show.

At any rate I have made tons of cash w/ Scope cards, and have had nothing but synthy happiness since I joined the Z and bought my cards.

XITE-1 will bring even more pleasure, and naturally I shall maximize my profits.

Cheers.

That's the good news.

The bad news is all the cash for Xite production has been spent on beer.

I've got the new printed catalogue from musicstore.de a few days ago, and guess what, XITE-1 is announced on page 360 (though still not online)!

To me it looks more like a picture of the real thing, but definitely different compared to the rendered picture on the SC site. The text below is also interesting, it provides some info about the DSPs.

Although "Soni Core" is not written correctly ;-)
