Wireless MIDI was a joke, as you still needed to power up the units.
This could carry MIDI on those controllers that use USB ports for MIDI out.
I always wanted to run around like Guitarists and vocaslists, but even with a battery operated wireless MIDI Yamaha quick movements would choke, and after 25 or 30 feet the Aquilla was trouble. This technology looks to be cheap and has a decent range.
