We Have The Best Forum

I am always cruising the developers forums at NS to see what's new and exciting.
But they are somewhat sensative when criticizing certain products they advertise and sell.
We at the Z are so spoiled, as we are self moderating, and rarely have to have intervention or censorship........just the opinions and truths, and even we can say Fuck You, eat shit, etc. Even though we don't do those juvenile things, we are allowed to if we want.
Over at NS most choice words must be cleverly disguised, no biggie.
But there is a pattern of deciept which I cannot remain silent about. It;s the way some developers release products they know do not work as advertised. This is just bull shit, and I must speak out ever so politely. But since I am not stupid enough to buy something until I hear it or have it demo'd by someone I trust, I can't be really mad or upset. But members here have taught me well over the last 4 years.
Here is a recent post I made in regards to a product that should never have been released. Funny how they call fixing what was never working right in the first place an " update ".
At any rate, I am sure this post will be deleted, as many links to functioning instruments that people post are also deleted, just like good old Russia, N. Korea, Cuba, and China do.
Here's how I politley answer a thread dedicated to the new " Authorised Steinway ".
Steinway must surely have never heard this sad rendition. First off notes of the staccato type cannot be done, the pedals that were advertised aren't even available, but will come in a future update. HAAA !! What a sad joke, but still people there defend it's release and even claim to be making movie scores with it............How Pathetic.

Sometimes waiting is a good thing. Never serve a wine before it's time.
I don't need the pedals now as I have a Digital Kawai provided for the solo gig.
I learned a while back to never buy anything newly released. It's the way it goes these days. Pressure from the consumers, and other competitiors can cause early released products to be, well, unfinished.
But thanks to everyone who has posted on it's lack of advertised features.
I am sure it will be ready for NAMM 2009.
Thanks To NS for the thread. It saved me valuable time and money.

This will surely be deleted, even though it's a rather polite post. And some here want to give Holger and the boys a hard time???? Go buy something from a developer at NS that is newly released, and then let's chat.
This is deceipt, plain and simple. No developer would send an instrument to be mastered in quantity that had these numerous flaws.
At any rate , I give them 2 days before this post / reply gets deleted. Even though I am simply responding to others. But I noticed this censorship before, and it is sad, but amusing at times. Especially when someone asks of a great VST Guiatr and leaves a link, only to see it scribbled out. Who said Stalin was dead.
