Hi,
I have Pulsar I (only 4 DSPs), does anybody
know difference between STS 4000 and STS5000 in consumming of DSP power ? I tried STS4000 with standart 16 voices and DSP load was about 4-5 segments, how much is it with STS5000 ?

A little more. All the pitch/time stretching stuff is done on the CPU, so that saves DSP, the only other DSP-consuming resource that comes to mind are the extra filters, but overall it shouldn't be too much more than the 4k.

I'd say the STS5000 uses a lot more than the STS4000. With my Pulsar 1, a STS5000 (16 voices) and a big mixer - give me practically full DSP!

With the STS4000 (24 voices), and a big mixer, I was at between 1/2 and 3/4 DSP.
