Hello, I have a little problem.
I just bought a pulsar 1 card to join my 2 scope cards, just for the adat i/o.
I bought it very cheap, no cd included etc. I thought, no problem, I have drivers for my own cards, they will probably work on the pulsar 1. But I can't manage to install the pulsar 1. In device manager it says it isn't installed (wrong driver). (winxp)
Doe anybody have a pulsar 1 driver for me ? Or another solution ?

are the cards connected via stdm-cable yet?
have you rtfm concering the setup-ini file configuration?
in fact there is no different driver for pulsar1 cards, they are supposed to use the same driver

No I didn't. I thought that it isn't nessecary because if I put a luna into my system, it works at once.

I already reinstalled 3 times. The strange part is, that if I restart the computer, it looks like it's installing the pulsar, it is recognised, it says it's installed, then in scope I only see my 2 cards I already have. If I go to device manager it says a unknown device with wrong drivers is installed (! and ? you see then).... i installed the scope 4.0 drivers... also tried the 3.1 (tried all the os drivers which where available)
If I install it again, using the hardware wizard in control panel, it says the hardware cannot be installed.

the p1 DEFINITELY uses the exact same driver as all the other cards. if it's not working then either the card is not seated, has dirty contacts, is broken or there's an unknown corruption in the os' file system.

exactly how are you installing the driver?

I found the problem.....
Because I had a luna2 installed before and my startup project still contained the zlinkconnection and other luna i/o, the pulsar1 was not visible yet. When I created a new project it became visible.
The multimedia controller that wasn't installed according to device manager was another device in my computer... (how stupid can I be, reinstalling some device which isn't the pulsar. )
So sorry guys for my post....
