Disgusted by Royal Mail postal service.

The other day I posted a beautiful condition classic analogue synth, the SCI Pro-One to a guy in London. I boxed it up in a really strong box that I'd got a glass LCD tv stand in last week. Inside the box was polystyrene, foam & cardboard packing material to protect the synth. I sent it via Royal Mail next day Special Delivery to get it to the guy in one piece & quickly. Well, it turned up in London next day before 1pm as promised, but when he opened the box it was apparent that the parcel had obviously had a very serious shock. The Pro-One main board had become dislodged from the front panel & was kinda hanging off according to his description. It sounded as if the parcel had literally been thrown off the back of a truck from a height & landed on concrete or something. Really gutted that a lovely condition synth has been damaged & now needs repair because of such abuse by Royal Mail staff, especially when I paid for their most expensive postal service when I sent it via Special Delivery.
