vdat and vrc-128

I am new to these devices. Just got a scope card with the vdat license for the first time. I tried out the vdat and it seems to work normal.
I then tried to connect a vrc-128 to it and I cannot seem to get it to control the vdat. In reading the manual it sound like all I need to do is connect the CLKO of the vrc to CLKI on the VDAT and it should work, but nope. Am I missing something?

It should definitely work if it's connected up properly.

That's the way.
Just in case you want to get away from that BOOV-BOOV-BOOV-BOOV-4/4 thing, Clock 2 Click can help escape the monotony.

There's also the excellent BOOV-BOOV-BOOV-BOOV Kick Me 2. Great Stomp Selection.

When I tried to do I simply connected CLK0 from the vcs-128 to CLKI on the vdat. Now Shroomz show a clock connection to ASIO2-dest64. I don't see that this has anything to do with it. I had connectioned the inputs of the vdat to a wav device to record from media player just to test it. I meter reads, and the vdat can record and play back, but the vcs-128 does nothing.
XITE-1/4LIVE live shows his connection from vrc-s ClkO to vdat ClkI. I tried that as well with no success.

It was an old screenshot I had posted previously on the forum. As described in the VDAT & VRC user manuals, you only need to connect clock to your ASIO destination module if you wish to slave an ASIO based application to the VRC transport.
Have you tried building a completely fresh project?

Don't forget to set up the vdat with tape name and min's.
Just in case you overlook this while troubleshooting.

If found the problem. It was the stdm cable. I was having other problems with outputs from the 3448 mixer not working, some outputs being intermittent from the adat output etc. When I fixed the cable all these problems went away including the adat - vrc-128 connection not working.
