Isn't this arfing thing out yet?

Post by siriusbliss »

I go away for vacation for two weeks, expecting Xite to be released while I'm gone, but NOOOOOOOOOO.... still not yet.

So, now even I am getting anxious. I have a magazine editor waiting on a review.

Oh well, just means more time to catch up on other things.

I would say that we will be talking about laptop connections tips and PCI-e placement this time next month.
I have so many projects that I need to try, and 2 heavy ass 4U's can be disassembled and removed from my racks..................
The day it arrives I shall feast like there's no tomorrow. :D

I hope it's released before the very busy holiday shipping time.

One good thing about XITE's delay for me is that if XITE-1 would've been released several months back i would've bought a new computer with it back then aswell, but i decided to wait on a computer and now may get a better one for my budget like Core 2 Q9550 or the low-end Core i7 920. This is around the best time for me to buy and build a computer, especially if prices drop again on Q9550 and i go with it.

last night i dreamt that i visited the soniccorewebsite.. and it said in BIG letters that they were out of business now..
Until i scrolled down at the bottom of the page.. then i found out that it was a joke!! and there was a link to the new software!!
I'm serious! :)

Do you still believe that XITE will be released this year?

After I read about the19thbear´s dream, I had to take a look into the commercial register: Thank God, no entry about liquidation or insolvency!

Hope springs eternal...

"...and the president of US for 2012 is Obama again. In other news, Sonic Core announces the release date for Xite1, which will be somewhere in the next decade..."

:o Does anyone else believe that not hearing from Sonic Core is a bad sign? Not a word since October 9th or something like that - no news, no updates, seems like trouble. Should I ditch the idea of SonicCore/Xcite-1 of being a reliable piece of studio gear? I'm worried - not because it's taking MUCH longer than expected, but simply because there has not been an update to the SonicCore website since late July.

Has anybody heard anything promising lately?

Maybe SC ditches the development of the Vista driver since hardly anyone will be building a DAW running on it. Maybe they realize Windows 7 will be a better OS and wait for developing a driver for it? Oh man, I hope I'm so wrong!

i am really wishing soniccore and the ole creamware team all the best for the future of X-ITE, not because i am thinking they are doing a good job nor that they are so lovable but because I am trying to love the world.
After 3 times of restructuring and reorganizing creamware the core of this team still hasnt learned from the past:
the faith of the users, the dealers and the third party developers in such an amazing system is most important and has to be taken very seriously.
I really wish soniccore all the best for a release of the X-ite before some others competitors are becoming the leaders of dsp based audio systems. The race of the leadership in dsp systems has just begun.Wonder if yamaha will release a dsp based audio sysetm, too.

Good luck!

thumbs up!
