Optimaster Help

I have never had crackles before, and have never used Optimaster either.
I have a few recordings where I used the Optimaster and it added snap, crackle and pops like a bowl of Kellogg's Rice Krispie Cereal in Milk.
Unfortunately I posted the musical excerpt before listening as while I was mastering with it I detected no such sounds?
Is this the proper way to use this effect? ( jpeg. below. )
The mp3 below is what happened after I used it. I never save these recordings as they are little excerpts for demo's, etc. So I don't have a way to retrieve the original vtp. file.

Alrighty Then,
I started the processor's Wizard then started the music. I thought that that would optimize the mp3. It made it really loud.
I shall further experiment before embarrasing myself further.
Thanks Guys.

I have come to the conclusion that it is Goldwave making the Rice Krispies.
Your suggestion on checking the 3 different bands was very helpful. I was unaware of that feature and fixed my highs and lows to taste.
One thing I have learned from today's lessons was to use Optimaster on the V82's master effects insert slot. All of the VDAT pre recorded drums and vocals we use live sound more defined and precise. The 3 bands trick helped and using SpaceF's LimFat rounded off the high's and low's nicely.
Maybe the cackling Hen's ears are better than what I give her credit for. I have the vocals and drums at lower levels in my monitors, and she has less of me in hers. Maybe Optimaster can make an already good sounding mix even better.
I will report back, and should even have a live recording of the group. One great feature of the headset mic/monitors we use, is they have gates on the mic diaphram similar to to AKG's D112. It shuts down unless you talk or sing.

Did you RTFM again? (sometimes it helps to refresh by reading it for a 4th time)

Indeed,
It was all in the manual. I am always in too much of a hurry, unless it's a synth or a complex mixer I think I know it all. This is a very nice quick fix for pre recorded material for sure.
Glad I had the time to try it. And glad you had the time to help.
Thanks,

Ankyu ma' Brotha's from other Motha's.
Funny thing over here is there are alot of racially proud folks from all walks of life, and I am a " white " guy, but I can spot the guys who are slightly prejudice as I am a good judge of people from years of public service. My band members love the way I talk.
To the Brotha's........I always say Simone Essay, and Si Senoir, and pester them w/ Spanglish, and the Cowboy rednecks really like the way I talk to them as if I were a Black guy. It's always fun as they seem frozen until they hear me talking to somebody in a normal tone.
Love the emoticon even mo' now.

1. fo' shizzle my nizzle
"fo shizzle ma nizzle" is a bastardization of "fo' sheezy mah neezy" which is a bastardization of "for sure mah nigga" which is a bastdardization of "I concur with you whole heartedly my African american brother"
i would love to hear someone from Harlem or the Bronx start a sentence with "I concur..."

Actually in the movie " Crimson Tide ", Denzel Washington was a skipper of Boomer that mutanied against the the original Skipper. When practicing the launching of the Trident Missiles they went through the " concurring Process ".
