I already installed the ASIO patch (replaced the dll file) from sonic core. But still have the problem when i select the SCOPE ASIO driver Cubase crashes with an ecxeption.
So i went back to Cubase 4.0.x and everthing works fine.
Does anybody has a tip for me how to solve this problem?
Thanx

I never had any problems like that, did you install 4.1.3?
Maybe try 4.5.2, I haven't had any problems with that one either.

After installing the older version 4.0.x and updating to version 4.5.2 it works fine. It wasn't necessary to reinstall or reconfigure any driver/patch of scope. It seems that you get in problem if the steinberg cubase cd with version 4.1.x was the source installation medium.
cheers...

Hi Olase!
I have had Problems with Cubase 4.5 <-> Soniccore too.
Did you tried to run an VST Standalone Application? So if I run the VST Standalone App. it crashed
after some minutes. I found in that forum that a dual core cpu doesn´t work stable with soniccore.
After disabling the second core I didn´t have had crashes again until now ...
Maybe a hint for your problem.
Best regards.
Stefan

Hi stevie,
i don't have a dual core cpu. And this problem has noting to do with the scope driver because FL Studio, Renoise, or Cubase SL/SX 3 never had a problem. They are all working fine.
I think that something went wrong in Cubase 4.1.x which was shipped on cd. After choosing the "ASIO Scope" driver in Cubase it crashed immediately. So i tryed the ULLI settings, the sampling rates as well as i tryed all ASIO modules in an emty project without any success. After i installed cubase from a CD with version 4.0.x and updated it to version 4.2.5 its working fine.
cheers...
