To Hell With The Category...

Really nice use of reversed tracks. I have been trying that in Reaper lately and experimenting w/ Granular doing the play all takes feature, to no avail.

Rhythm tracks were tasty also.

Nice Job.

thanks for reply Jimmy.

bassdrum made with adern kickme (little too much compression, maybe).

i´m doing all sampling/editing basicly with logic audios exs24 and straigth on audiotracks on timeline, and using a lot of space designer effect (reversing echoes could not be any easier than that). scope is still new for me and lot of time goes to researching stuff, i just have 4.0 with no upgrades but so far very happy with it :) maybe you can recommend something especially? i´d definitely need more some really wicked granulator/morpherthing.. with lot of randomizin  ..gotta try that reaper soon.

I would get Reaper. It's cheap and when I record audio in and out of it the sound is clean and uncolored.

As far as Scope goes, you don't wanna know what I recommend. You'd be broke like me. But recently I have discovered so many great overlooked effects and Modular patches from the stock package. I was forced to do things way above my skill level when I first had mine built. They work flawlessley, but only in the last year did I really start coming to grips with it, and rediscovering some great content.

So you are saying these tracks aren't reversed, just the Echo effects?

Maybe I should look into a similar effect. I had an Oberheim Echoplex w/ reversed echos, but sadly it was analog, and mono which worked on lead solo stuff only.

Space Designer sounds really nice.

yeah, there´s reverse button included on the effect  ..offcourse this makes things more complicated because offsetting timing, so i believe playing realtime wont be very practical. as far postproducting of the sound, this toy makes it crazy (i´m not musician but postproducting sound&video). example i have friend composing quality moviesoundtracks using only space designer on logicaudio, pair of mics and macbook, it´s that good.

etc. BlueSynth & space designer works like magic. at least for me. ;) would be nice to found equilavent for scope, i´m sure there is one somewhere.. or even better.

cheers.

Exactly,

I had to adjust my licks ( compensate ) to get the desired placement. I could actually set the timing so that a dotted quarter note at any BPM would work.

Inverse reverbs are also cool when added to the delay line, but by themselves sound like the little girl in the Television set of the movie Poltergeist crying............Mommy.

BlueSynth,... If the one below is the right synth, I believe you would like Solaris from JBowen.

thanks again for comments.

I guess BlueSynth is a stock Creamware synth Jimmy :)

edit: just heard the tune, love it!
