Hi im experiencing a problem with my Midi in all the sequencers i use, Reason and Nuendo 1,
where as before it worked no problem, now when i open the sequencers, it doesnt give me a choise to use pulsar or anything as a midi input.
midi works fine on all the internal pulsar synths!!
any idea what could cause this?

Tried reinstalling the Scope driver, from Device Manager? Close Scope, take a look at the driver settings, if nothing is wrong then reinstall driver and reboot...
Just a thought, could be a 2 minute fix..

you need an additional pair of sequencer midi i/os for reason. you'll have to assign reason to the second pair of i/o and disable the first pair(in reason). nuendo can then use the first pair.

ive tried the reinstall and reinstalling Nuendo and reason, but they still dont even show up,
as in not even a choice to select the Pulsar as a midi input, just says "no Midi input"
even tried changing the PCI slot!! total nightmare!!!

Did you try to reinstall the
scope drivers? Reinstalling both sequencers doesn't seem to make sense to me - they both show the same Scope related problem, so I think the problem's with Scope, not with these sequencers...
Tried Valis'
attribute fix?
I'm suggesting these quick fixes, since they're so easy and quick... Reinstalling Winblows, Scope and sequencer software takes a bit longer, and also may induce other issues.

It appears a bit in between html code at that page, since planetz's last forum upgrade, but you could have found this between that code:

That's a last resort - unless you have an adequately recent image of your partition ready...
Don't have the Scope machine with me now, but did you check that the amount of MIDI ports made available in Scope Settings and Windows Device Manager are the same? Not sure if the MIDI drivers have that, I know the Wave drivers can have a discrepenacy there causing problems.

yeah, checked that, whats confusing me is that reason and Nuendo says "no midi input"
where as midi is fine in Pulsar its self!

hi i just the audio prefrences in control panel, and its all blank, so it wont let me choose anything,
i take it this is why the midi wont work? does anyone know how to get Pulsar to register in there?
