Well, my part of the UK anyway (East Anglia/South East).
Hot and muggy. Makes me want to not do anything.
Phmeh.

Yep, I've been rocking the shorts for a few days now.
Actually, it's just started raining in Cambridge (as I typed that, I think I heard thunder as well), but I'm not sure if the rain will carry on long enough to reduce the humidity significantly.
It feels tropical - I was in Tobago a few weeks ago, and the weather there was remarkably similar to this weather (it's the rainy season, so it was slightly cloudy, very humid, and with the odd 20 minute downpour, followed by blazing sunshine!)
I feel like limin' on the beach with an ice-cold Carib.

Here in Portugal, instead of the usual 90-day heat-spree we usually get each summer, we've been having a lot of rain, and the nights are chilly. It's like two days heat, then 3 days rain. In fact, I just had a couple of friends visiting from London who thought the weather was quite familiar.
It's unusual, but, IMO, not bad at all... I find excessive heat very unconfortable...

Reminds me of an episode of "Hamish Macbeth" when Wee Jock was run over and killed.
TV John said "We're having a heatwave - it's nearly 16 degrees".
Lucky you Shroomz - hope the weather holds because I'll be heading up there in 3 weeks again.
Watch out for the midges if you're wearing shorts.

maybe we'll get lucky and greenland will turn green again!
it's good that the UK is warm. in the late 1700s, Thomas Robert Malthus was convinced that it would be better to let the peasants die because keeping them well fed and comfortable in the cold was expensive and inneficient. a warm UK is a happy UK(ditto Denmark. those ice giants had been advancing for a while, good to see them beaten back!).

In '91 i was in Edinburgh - it hit 18 C and blokes were whipping their shirts off left, right & centre!
The glare from this required a quality set of polarizing sunglasses
Bloody cold here, but the farmers reckon the rain won't go astray.
