I lost my bid on the rare Doepfer I found on ebay and decided to buy these parts instead.

They are used in the Doepfer control surfaces, and I could possibly have a custom control surface made to fit my rig better. The Fader Box is perfect, but these are rare and too expensive when they do show up used on ebay.

The 64 knob Dehrbank sold for way over 400 USD !! I put in a max bid during the last moments of the auction and it wasn't enough.

I wish to build a miniature QWERTY sized surface w/ the joystick from the FaderFox series of controllers, 12" Ribbon strip, 4 x rows of 16 knobs, and 16 faders.

Would these parts require anything else?

You have done alot of work for me lately, I thank you.

My head is spinning as I try to get a final config for when XITE-1 arrives.

I have an incredible amount of work to finish. My vacation is the 1st of August, so I am under the gun.

I trust the SonicCore so much that I am only sweating my abilities at this point.

This DIY will be made by someone for me. I am searching for the person NOW.

I could actually do w/o the ribbon and joyustick as I already have the ribbon and Solaris will have the joystick, but this DIY will be quite valuable for resale if I decide to do that.

Their website is half broken, and I can't see any prices.. Seemed the modular concept was cool tho.

Seems an adventurous device as are many self builds. All I can say in addition to the information at uccaps is to have patience and test it well.
I stumbled around for ages after building my first board trying to work out the errors but perseverance always pays.

I'd like to see the design layout. There are a couple of QWERTY layouts listed on uccaps.

RS components (or their Vegas equivalent) do a great joystick controller that isn't sprung (so it can be left in position without returning to the centre)
I have also thought of using a graphics tablet or touch mouse (like the ones from the front of laptops) used as a ribbon controller and as a joystick X Y controller. As these generally come with a ps2 or usb connector it would be no ploblem incorporating them into the project.
