What makes you deserve it?
Did you read the resent threads by our administrator?
If you didn't even care to do so, why should he care to work for free to give you colours?

These colours are temporary. As soon as John fixed the forum, the old scheme will be restored ;-)

Thanks. This white is not so suitable...

I smell a conspiracy. The new board looks somewhat like the 5.0 routing window :o

I wouldn't care if the whole site looked like it had been done in crayon.....

I like the clean look. Don't really care if it goes back to the old look, or something different. It's not the look but the content that counts. But the look is fine by me.

As others pointed out, I am working on it. In phpBB version 3, they changed the way the board-themes work, so it's taking me some time to change it to get it right.

You may see some some weirdness over the next few days as I tweak it, time permitting.

Those who prefer the white-background generic phpBB appearance can select it in their user profile. It'll be up to you to choose.

Good because it's easier to read like this. That's all I care about.

John Cooper should always be in red and bold so he can differentiate himself from us common people.

Well it went back to the old color as I was typing this. I will see if I can get it to the light background with dark text in my preferences. Personally, I think the military green background colors suck.

I can see your buttons are Gifs with white transparent backgrounds so they look crappy around the edges with the green color theme.

Yes I'm aware of the bad button edges.
I couldn't just copy over the old buttons because they've added new ones, and renamed them all.

I've been trying to figure out how to fix the edge colors for the last half hour, and I'm running out of time for today. Anyone know how to do it? There's gotta be a simple way to do it batch in gimp or photoshop. Here they are:

Go to the user control panel, board preferences, and set the style to "subsilver2". and you'll see the black on white appearance.

The traditional planetz colors will still be the default.

I can fix them for you. I'll see if I can get to it tomorrow.

Definitely prefer the traditional Z look. That white/blue default just looked like A. N. Y. Other forum.

By the way, what happened to the "mark all topics as read", (or someting like that) in every forum? I can't find it anymore...

By the way, if I fix the buttons, it will be the same problem if someone switches to the other theme but I guess people like this one more. Each theme should have it's own buttons.

No, there's two independent imagesets for the two styles. It'll be good.
Thanks for looking into it!

I see it above the "Last Post" column heading (below the "go to page" stuff). On the main page it says "Mark forums read". On a forum page, it says "Mark topics read".

Ahh wait a minute! The "mark forums/topics read" link is the same color as the background here (very light gray). So I can only see it in rollover state. Otherwise it's invisible. Am I the only one having this?
It's not a showstopper anymore now that I know where to find it, but still...

*edit* All the other links within a topic (next topic/ previous topic/first unread post) in that same light gray bar are nearly invisible as well due to the same colour as the background. (is this only me?)

What browser are you using? Looks fine in Firefox, but I know there are differences with different browsers...

We'll get this stuff all sorted, eventually :) Thanks for your patience.
