Coolness.

Another feature of the C4T.

Is there any way to alter the patterns of the S & H options?

For example I was reading about a VSTi that allowed many options of S & H that could be chained together.

Is that possible w/ the SDK?

It would be interesting to hear what 4 synths using different patterns of S & H would sound like.

Thanks For The Demo.

Hello there,

with the S&H source set to VCO1 many patterns can be obtained by altering the numerous settings on VCO1. Best results are often achieved this way by being selective with the VCO waveforms in use & keeping the waveform mix levels quite low. Also try switching the OSC sync & VCO1 audio off. That way VCO1 can be pitched right down but obviously not be heard directy. Sharc also mentioned plans to add extra VCO modulation options which will further enhance the S&H pattern morphing possibilities.

cheers,
Mark

Well, we are partners in crime, but C4T is mostly sharc's project. I've helped out with testing & some of the gui obviously, but little more than that.

I actually have achieved certain chromatic scales and am continuing experimenting with other S & H factors on all of my synths.

Never really was interested in those features until recently.

A friend had pointed out to me a couple of passages done by some of my favorite players were S & H features......damn. I always learned the notes I heard as a lick and played it instead thinking ..Jeez, this guy's chops are really smooth.

So an old Dog can actually learn new tricks. :D

I'll have to post what the guys @ Octave said about S&H in the original CAT manual. Those guys were even funnier than you mate.
