Hey Jimmy!

I'm very interested in the PCM91!

How much is it??

I guess shipping will be cheaper when you send it together with the scope AES/EBU??

Please let me know

1750 USD for both.

Before we can conclude our transaction, I must recieve the program for key transfers from Ralf, and have the card in the DAW, as well as the XITE-1 in my possesion.

Is that Okee-Dokee with you?

I just went through hell shipping to France. I chose to do this during a Holiday weekend when many idiots filled the ranks while the experienced employess took the weekend off, Let us hope that we do this before the 4th Of July weekend.

Shipping would probably be around 75 USD, approximately.

I'd love to get both the PCM 91 and 81 but I think with customs tax and vat here in UK its not going to be viable. Good luck though to whoever gets them. Another sore dick deal for sure :)

Hows things by the way XITE, hope all is good in the city of dreams :)

Cheers for now

The City Of Dreams did me right, but I am preparing for battle in Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Virginia City, and Reno this Fall.

I will ski and play music while raising my son full time.

My X is a great singer and since she is a major babe, the gigs will fall right into place.

There is so much work here,. the band could suck, but as long as they have a cute girl singing, they will be booked.

Fortunately I will not tolerate lazy players, with cheap kit.

This should be a great 5 piece group, as I have contacted the best cats for yet another round of clubbing.

Hope all is well with you, and yes, the shipping and VAT are steep, but the 2 Lexicons were snatched rather quickly and will now punish the ears of many Europenas, at least I hope they do.

Anyone who wants to buy such quality equipment, will surely be making great stuff.

Jimmy,

somewhat OT but.........

The quality of some of the club stuff in Tahoe just rocks and some quality people. On an annual ski trip from blighty a couple of years ago me an a bunch of mates were having a laugh with the guys from a band playing in a casino (Harrah's I think), buying em drinks and shouting out requests. One of my 'mates' told em I played guitar and I ended up on stage jamming for a while (after checking the club insurance covered me!) - fantastic fun but I was pissed and played like shit.

I laugh when I see your posts as the vocalist annouced me as 'Brother man Simon from England'

Also spent many a happy night in Cabo Wabo rocking out.

Come to think of it the powder was to die for as well.......

Sounds like you got yourself a great life :)

:D That's Great. Sounds like friends of mine. The slogan is actually from the radical Oakland chapter of the " Black Panthers" from the '60's. They reffered to each other that way. It is very catchy, as the person using the slogan comes off as a " leader " of sorts.

BTW, O.T. is just another form of creativity IMHO. Why try and confine ideas and relvant thoughts..........................

Actually I was reffering to the " Vegas " scene. It has become a giant cesspool of generic junk. Up north, one must have a quality crew, as there are many performers, and less venues to play in. In Las Vegas, there are so many stages, and not enough performers to fill the gigs !! It's insane here. I always tell friends who are thinking of performing live for a decent living, come to Vegas........You can be gigging steady within 2 weeks of arriving,

Tahoe's been one of my favorite venues for years. I was in a house band across from Harrah's called Harvey's. for 3 years. They even provide free booze and food / lodging, I always had trouble making it back over the summit home in those days.

It's great to hit the slopes during the day, and jam at night in the ski season at Heavenly or Mt. Rose, where my house is just over the NW corner summit.

And troll the beaches via Waverunners during the summer.

The hiking trails are second to none.

Speaking of Guitarists, Tahoe has 'em all, and they perform un announced in local clubs.

Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Jimmy Page just to name a few.

It's a final wish being answered..........I shall pursue it with all of my vigor, and heart................and of course w/ XITE-1. :D

Wow Jimmy! You're leading the good life! I wish everything was as "easy" for musicians around here... I'll send you some of my stuff soon, I'd like to have your feed-back.

How much for the 8U rackmount case?

It will be under 200 + shipping.

But you could get these brand new from Alberta, Canada for really very little more.

I will sell it you, but let me find the link for this guy.

I had my 16 sent from him for a really low price, it was the shipping that made it an " Unsore Dick Deal".

And by all means send me some mp3's since I have no sound card on my internet DAW.

It's as old as my first Giga DAW w/ the Matrox G450 4X AGP card.

Eliam,

You can buy this for 200 + shipping.

He is an ebayer who bought a truckload of stuff a few years ago and has sold it all.

Unless you need any graphite fishing poles, it's a no go.

I thought he was a dealer, but I guess he has connections for items whatever they are for wholesale prices.

PM me if you want it.

It held an analog rack mounted synbth and DAW and kept them safe.

These cases occassionally show up on ebay, but SKB has discontinued them and now has the industrial 1000 racks only. They are the bomb, but I doubt I will have my rig inside of a 49 footer anymore.

I will also throw in the SKB Rollers that sell for 100 new.

Jimmy, how much do you want for the Fp-8 and pedals?

Thanks,

225 + shipping, since you are a returning customer.

I was going to keep it for Soalris, but it seems that it won't be needed, and Solaris will have great controller features and UI to use.

This set up works great, you only need to download the software programmer for their website, and choose your weapons.

you mean 225 with the pedals as well? That sounds pretty good!

I was just reading the manual for the FP8, and it seems rather complicated to program... what does it do exactly, is it like a MIDI patchbay, or a MIDI merger?

Right now, I'm using a MOTU Midi timepiece (parallel port) MIDI interface on my Scope DAW, which won't be needed after XITE, and that has standalone MIDI patchbay capablities and a nifty LCD in front, not to mention 8 inputs and outputs... I'll take another look at the FP8 manual, but I'm thinking it may not be of much use to me.

But I am interested in some MIDI pedals... Maybe if someone wants only the FP you could break it up?

EDIT: Silly me, I see now this takes footswitches, not MIDI pedals, I'm terribly sorry for rushing... So the Expression pedals you have are not MIDI, they have a jack output, right?

Well, I'm interested! Can you find out shipping costs over to Portugal?

Thanks again,

T

No problemo.

You'll love it.

You can take these pedals + 2 more and assign anything you want to them.

They work well w/ Scope / Giga, and also attached to an ancient analog w/ MIDI they can change your life.

Solaris in hardware is so fierce that these 8 pedals will not be needed. But I will never give up my Kurzweil Ribbon " God " controller.

On a multitimbral synth I can do bi-directional glides while holding the notes for a totally un reproducable effect. Unless you want to record and playback audio live.........................weak.....lame. :D

OK, great!

I'm planning to use the foot controllers to activate and deactivate aux sends in the FP mixers, and the expression pedals for the aux volumes (making delay swells and the like).

Hopefully, it'll make it easier to integrate Scope with my guitar pedal effects I have set up as sends. This will be great, as I currently have only one pair of hands.

I was saving up for Solaris, even contacted JB to make an order, but, and this is absolutely true, when I went online to check my funds and order the transfer, I saw the announcement of XITE, and, well, I'm going for that instead... But I'm sure it's going to be a monster synth - I'm going for the Scope version anyway, as soon as I have XCITE.

BTW, this is OT, but have you seen SpaceF's new synth, the LBH4? That's one I'm really looking forward to using, as the LBHs are an old fave here, and this one seens to have a whole new range of tricks, coming from a revamped step-sequencing section. FP mixers have been upgraded too! That guy is simply amazing...

And back to the current subect, when you know the shipping costs, let me know, and I'll paypal you.

Thanks,

T
