This is how synths should be used.

All done in Mac Logic with AU, Real Guitar, East West Colossus and some effects.

Not a huge cost and no DSP's.

Listen to song 4, you will hear the utter lush sound of that Vangelis type CS80 Brass Swell.

He use to have a wall of Hardware synths listen to some of his earlier works they are kewl to. But once Virtual instruments evolved he was very motivated and released this new CD. Many years later.

My work is similar to his. My Other favorite artists are Alan Parsons Project, Pink Foyd, Yes, Styx , Patrick O'hearn, David Archestone, Mars lasar and of course Davol who is my favorite.

I prefer the older stuff personally, but I bought this CD for some fresh ideas.

The older stuff is just amazing. I thought he was done cause it been so many years later he released this one.

He was motivated from the software synths idea AU for Mac and some other things happen to him in his life that he decided to release the CD.

He used a lot of Korg and east west Choirs in his older stuff. he told me he had walls of synths and I still feel his older stuff has a bit more bite.

He emailed me saying he will soon have a new release, re-work of his older stuff with some video footage.

I can't wait. His music is one of a kind.
