scope 4 won't install

Hi there

sorry to post something so boring but I've had a look through various posts and I can't find any answers. I'm installing scope 4 on an old pulsar 2 card. I'm not eligible for scope 4.5 unless I pay for an upgrade.

anwyay

The drivers installed nicely and pc rebooted.
the installation continues but I can't seem to get past the first allkeys/cope.rgy part. It seems to find all the keys etc but the next button is always greyed out. however after much messing around suddenly I was able to select the next button. woohoo....however after selecting the xtc and vst plugin folders I just get the error message "unable to copy!" . This isn't exactly helpful and I'm loathed to restart the installtion as I'll be stuck on the allkeys section again.

is there anything specific I have to do with regards the destination folders. I've obviously tried various things but to no avail.

any help would be much appreciated

cheers

if "nest" is grey :

1) you do not have the right allkey file (open it / that's a text file so you will see what's inside and check the serial numer of the board .... is it the right one ?)

2) If you did a mistake previously with a wrong allkey (or if it is a new board) please remove form disk ALL what you have instelled previously (program files/sfp etc ...). I remember I had problems like this because Scope had "stored" a previous wrong allkey file. Just check your allkey or ask rb@soniccore.com the allkey for your hardware...

3) Even worse  : you have transfered (or a previous owner) plugins without doing what is necessary. That may have sometthing to do with the eeprom so the hardware... support is necessary. Buuuuut, first of all : is it the first time you install this board ? Have you tried to trabsfer plugins with special files sent by Ralf ? If not, do not worry you do not have a hardware problem (eeprom).

I think your problem is the second one though ...

delete the scope folder already on the c drive and it should work again.
