Lately when I reset ASIO drivers withn Cubase, after resetting Pulsar's samplerate I get a crackly hissy sound,like quantise noise.

Everything's ok after rebooting but I think there is some added noise which doesn't come from my samples or plugins.

Is this possible that noise is being added. Is it possible the ASIO drivers have become slightly corrupted after a crash?

sure, or something in system memory becomes corrupted sometimes when the driver is reset, which would require a reboot to reload.

Ah I have just added more RAM but have realised I haven't put the RAM in the correct slots.
