Zangsta.....Out of the Garbage-bin.mp3

I have been trying out the Acid Pro 6 for a couple of days,
and I´m very happy with it, and got this mp3 out of this test.
The only thing that I could not work out, was to record audio
and not get all the other tracks mixed in...
So this is a preliminary version, without any guitar.
I figured maybe some feedback would be helpful, before I get
this track set, anyway.
Have I gone over the top ?? To much going on?
Just give me your opinions, don´t spare me anything..

NICE.
I like the precussion breaks @ 1:31 & 4:30.
The synth & percussion grooves are cool. The Phil Collins gated verb panned to one side is nice. It seems as though when drums are centered w/ the synth bass, and percussion tracks are panned L & R, bringing in or out any of those tracks have a dynamic boost or cut in the mix.
I hear a preset synth in the mix, and then some cool analog emulations too.
What synths were used?

Hi Jimmy!
You have a very keen set of ears, you´ll turn out to be the new Bruce Swedien !
Most of the synths turns out beeing samples, hence the Garbage-bin reference.
I use one preset from a cool soft-synth, Crystal, and mix in samples, choire-like.
The dynamic of how and when and what to to pan is useful knowledge, you are right there.
Today, having slept, and listening to the track, it is obvious to me that some things needs fixing though. Anything that bothers you?
I had a pm from one guy who had a beef with the repeating, sampled synth that comes in first, and keeps going. I tend to agree with him, it can benefit from beeing rationed severely, at least.
As I stated, this is a beta-version !

you can record audio by muting all the other tracks, or having 2 asio chan and use one for the stuff you wantr to record and the other for the stuff you want to listen.
i used to have a web site called "acid tracking tips" back in the day of 3.0
i stopped using it because it can only output sync on one midi port at a time, and you have to keep turning midi clock back on.

.
The first option is useless, I need to monitor for overdubbing, and the second one is what I was exploring, but I gave up, I could not figure out the routing for that.
I´ll try it out some other day when I feel rested and motivated.
The way I see it now, with Acid 6 Pro, it´s very close to being a serious alternative as a DAW, and if iI can work this out, it may end up competing with Samplitude.
Thanks, Neutron!
