Sounds Fuckin' Great.
You are a rare breed Brotha' Man 19th Bear.
The vocals, Upright Piano, and the plucked / fretted guitar sounds are awesome.
Usually people w/ such a good voice are numbskulls who bathe their vocals w/ effects and have little knowledge of production.
Your ideas are very fresh.
Singers that I have worked usually must be led to the mic, and told when to sing, and shut up immediately afterwards.
I especially like the way you use the background vocals for the chorus section.
Years ago Emerson,Lake & Palmers, Greg Lake had an engineer that used his vocal abilities really well.
They would record the verse dry and have little noticable effects, then he would add 2 or 3 more tracks of his voice in unison, or harmony during the chorus.
It was a dramatic way of production as the choruses would be very powerful and have effects, and harmonies blazing. Then the second verse would appear to drop in dynamics, but was actually just a dry solo voice again.
Very Well Done My Brotha'.
