The right of citizens to not get shot is more important than the right to own a gun.

It's for the good of society as a whole. Your individual rights are far less important.

It's like taxes. You are required to pay for schools even if you don't have children. It is for the good of our country. Your rights don't matter as much and this is how it should be. Healthy people have to pay for insurance to pay for sick people. That is the only way we can function as a society.

not one penny given to the IRS goes to governmental operations.

insurance makes health care MORE expensive for everybody.

I don't know who you're adressing there Braincell, but I can tell you that I've been accused of being worse than mad.

Since we are on the topic of fictional revisionist history, I thought I would add some literature and DVD viewing material along the same lines as the books suggested by Gary.

when you call Edward Bernays, H.G. Wells or Carroll Quigley kooky and insignificant, you just show the depth of your ignorance.

it doesn't matter what you or i believe, these guys are as insider as it gets. they are as real as it gets and only foolish people would dismiss these writings. the world you know is based on the work of these men, all three, and especially Mr. Bernays and Mr. Wells....as they say, he wrote the book on it.

Edward Bernays played a major role in getting women addicted to cigarettes and H.G. Wells thought eugenics was a great idea. As you know, Hitler agreed with Wells on this.

braincell (singular) is an appropriate name.

p.s. by the way, a year ago today a 'troubled student' killed 25 students at Virginia Tech, which is a 'gun free' zone. If ONE student had a gun, the outcome would've been different.

Sorry that guns are to be blamed.
