I am as peeeeed off as I possibly can be!!! :x Just spent a few hours on a mix inside Scope - experimenting with a few devices and got the beginnings of a new track sounding just nice using STM4896's direct outputs to side chain a couple of compressors. Had no problems when doing all this. I wanted to sidechain this way for a couple of reasons rather than use the traditional Aux out method. Loaded the project backup and now get the filppin infamous "blah blah blah generates without delays!!!" warning. Why doesn't Scope advise me of this when I make the connections in the first place rather than letting me get on with my mixing and then deciding to not let me load what was working perfectly fine when originally saved. Just off to work now.....God help anyone who pees me off at work today!!

Please Sonic Core - have an option to bypass any such warnings and if my computer explodes in the process I will take full responsibility!!! :o

I remember at least one time when I had the same problem!

Just insert the FB device (by Wolf or Wavelength?) or use a modular patch with 2 xmodFB modules inserted between its ins and outs. They introduce one sample delay which avoids direct feedback in a loop connection - hence no more warnings like you had.

Thanks at0m and Wolf. Works fine with the Fdbk device now!! This Fdbk device will get plenty of use. I owe you both a pint!! :)

The Fdbk device can be downloaded from Wolf's site, where has plenty of fine stuff for Sonic Core users, all of which is either free or extremely cheap . :)

hesnotthemessiah, when you're in the create/edit post screen writing your post, just hover over the URL button & a brief explanation of how to enter the URL appears.

edit - just realised that you probably know that already. It's just that the URL itself is a total mess.
